TGIF! It’s Friday and did someone say cocktails?! Well even if they didn’t here is my cocktail-ready outfit that I wore for a wonderful night out to celebrate the grand opening of Lafayette 148 New York‘s new flagship store inside South Coast Plaza. It was truly an evening of fashion as the theme was “The Art of The Occasion” which is very fitting for this time of year. It was also a night of philanthropy as some proceeds were benefiting Girls Inc. of Orange County.

It was a great night full of drinks, connecting with old and new blogger friends and taking in the beautiful clothes not only on the racks but showcased by models roaming the store.
I had previously attended the presentation of their Spring collection (read here) and every since then I have been hooked to Lafayette 148 New York.
For one, the fit and quality of their blazers – you saw I wore the white blazer here, here and here– I had to literally stop myself from wearing it again, but I am secretly giving it a break as I wear this newly acquired black one! Plus the design is exquisite and I even got to voice that to their Creative Director Emily Smith at the event (which by the way she was so lovely!)
And this dress is REVERSIBLE – it seamlessly goes from a chic leopard to a sleek striped dress!
