Mommy bit: Baby’s Bath time Routine

Ladies and gents, we have a 9 month old on our hands and boy, oh boy is he active!

He is standing on his own, crawling really fast, so playful and smiling all the time which melts my heart. To wind him down, we have developed a night time routine that we stick to religiously (even if my family makes fun of us for it being timed down to the minute)!

After his dinner feeding, we let him digest and play for about 30 minutes and then we shift into bath time. Bath time is key because it is the transitional piece of the routine where we go from play mode to sleep mode and as such we want to make it both fun and soothing.

For this task, we count on the new reformulated JOHNSON’S® Baby products from the JOHNSON’S® Baby COTTONTOUCH™ Wash to the JOHNSON’S® Baby head-to-toe® Wash to the JOHNSON’S® Baby COTTONTOUCH™ Lotion post-bath.

If you’re a parent you know the first question that pops into our heads when it comes to baby products is what is in it? These JOHNSON’S® Baby products have 50% fewer ingredients, that are over 90% naturally derived, free of parabens, free of phthalates, dye free, sulfate free… just genuinely simpler and gentler for our little ones. It also makes me feel better that it is # 1 choice of Hospitals!

You may have noticed that the packaging has changed, and one of the added bonuses is the top pump to the bath products that makes it so much easier for us moms (and dads) to be able to get the product out while our active babies wiggle in their tubs!

JOHNSON’S® Baby COTTONTOUCH™, johnson's baby products review

I recently incorporated JOHNSON’S® Baby COTTONTOUCH™ Wash which is a newer product that is extra ultra-light and I like that it is easy to rinse off, fast absorbing and makes for one less slippery baby = makes bath time easier! I apply it over his body and then use the JOHNSON’S® Baby head-to-toe® Wash all the way up into his head and hair. It is so gentle that it doesn’t bother him, and he pretty much just enjoys bonding with mommy or daddy as we wash him up!

Post-bath we apply the JOHNSON’S® Baby COTTONTOUCH™ Lotion, which is super silky and moisturizes for as long as 24 hours. And like its wash counterpart, is great for our baby’s sensitive skin as it is specially designed for newborn skin. And there you have it, one fresh and happy baby! Gosh, I never though it was possible to cry of how cute a baby is, but this little one makes me do just that (I know, being dramatic! lol)

And if you haven’t tried these products yet, you can get your products at Kroger just like I did at my local Ralphs! It is so convenient when I’m in there shopping for groceries that I can swing by the baby isle and pick these up! And for you I have a coupon! Beginning 9/2 while supplies last, you can save $1 on any 1 JOHNSON’S® lotion, wash, or hair care item. You can load this (digital) offer to your card when you sign into Kroger.com.

Bath time is a important time, some of my fondest memories as a toddler was with ducks and plastic boats.
