Plaid and Jeans

Lately I have been so drawn to red plaid, a pattern that I usually reserve for the Christmas season, but when styled with jeans and black booties like I did below, it may look like a casual outfit with edge.

I recently picked up this piece while perusing my local Forever 21, which made me realize that the best part about shopping in-store is that you are not influenced by the styling that you see online, which is why when I picked up this “dress” I totally thought it was a top and wore it as such!
