Mommy Bit: Boppy ComfyFit Baby Carrier

In November 2017, I stepped into the biggest role of my life, the role of mom. Everything I thought I had figured out in life went out the window because life with a baby is a whole new normal! So as I try to adapt to my new reality with an infant, I am all about products that make life easier while keeping the baby happy and the Boppy® ComfyFit® Baby Carrier has been one of them.

The Boppy™ ComfyFit™ Baby Carrier is made with yoga material and is easy to use which is crucial when you have to carry a wiggle worm of a baby while putting it on! With one buckle in the back and a couple of ties the baby is comfortably secured! Lil Oscar Julian LOVES it because the yoga material makes him feel molded on to me and it might remind him of the days he was in my belly! While in the carrier, he laughs when I bounce him around gently, relaxes and even falls asleep *happy tear* You can wear it with baby facing inward (like I’m wearing it here) and it has the necessary neck support, then as he gets older, he can face outward.

As a new mom, “balancing” (or attempting to) a full time job, blogging and life in general, time is very limited, therefore being able to multitask by having the baby in the carrier is a major benefit. Any chance I can put him in the carrier I do, which lets me get some things done around the house like folding laundry (which is endless when you have a baby!). I also like that I can take it to social gatherings and instead of having to stay with the baby in one spot, I can mingle and still be part of the gathering while having the baby with me in the Boppy Carrier.

And talking about the “balance” struggle, Boppy launched this innovative carrier with their #NeverNotAMom campaign and the accompanying video below. I wanted to include this video because it resonated with me so much that it drew me to tears and still does every time I watch it. It is aimed to challenge the notion of “work-life” balance in that “when you’re a mom, you’re #nevernotamom” which I couldn’t agree with more especially now as I JUST returned back to my 9 to 5 job. The video shows real moms continuing to pursue their careers, jobs and passions with the baby in their carrier and showing that life as mom never stops! If you’re a mom I recommend having your tissues ready!

I imagine babies probably like the front version better than the "backpack" style.

This looks really helpful! So glad that you are able to juggle so much and do what you can to find balance! :)the-creationofbeauty.blogspot.com
