Transitioning into spring with cabi

I’m back in cabi*queue the confetti!* It
was 2014 when I acquired my first cabi piece (here) and because of the
great quality and design, their clothes continue to be an integral part of my
wardrobe season after season. Since I was pregnant last year, I had to sit a
season out, but I’m happy to be able to resume incorporating cabi pieces in my
outfits starting with this one featuring The Times Coat and The Embroidered Blouse from
their spring 2018 collection! Want to see my past cabi outfits? Click here!

everything else:

In case you haven’t heard about cabi before, their clothing is designed for real women (like me!) who live real lives, with an affordable mix of professional separates and casual everyday pieces that are refreshed twice yearly, in the Fall and Spring to stay on-trend.  The unique part about cabi is that the only way to purchase their items are through a cabi Stylist typically through a cabi fashion experience which is like a trunk show (but better in my view). These shows are hosted by cabi Stylists all across the country! In them, cabi Stylists show, share styling tips and sell the cabi collections while creating a fun environment where you can shop among friends and try on the clothes. If you are interested in finding a cabi Stylist near you, you can search here!

Now back to this look, although the styling feels more winter than spring, I must say that San Diego threw us a curve ball and started actually giving us Winter weather *gasp*, but once the sun comes out you’ll be seeing these pieces pop back up styled for warmer weather. And that’s the thing about cabi pieces- they are so versatile and ageless! I actually wore The Times Jacket to my first day back at work from maternity leave and I loved that although I had only had very minimal sleep (since the baby still gets up twice in the night), I still looked polished because the jacket is very stream lined and elegant!

And as you can tell these ankle boots are back again! I remember the days when I would try to not blog the same items over and over but now I literally have no shame because this is #reallife people! So yeah, these boots are back and I love them because they are chic and comfy and went perfectly with the ensemble- and did I mention it was cold in San Diego? oh yeah I did. This San Diego native still can’t believe it!
