This denim dress and over-sized vest sweater is my favorite look from my shoot with Miss Match San Diego. As mentioned in my previous post, this boutique sits in the Ferry Landing area of Coronado which a big tourist destination here in San Diego, so I feel like this outfit fits in so well with the surroundings. You can style this outfit in so many ways because a denim dress is like a blank canvas, but I went with a relaxed feel by keeping all of the colors neutral.
I love items that serve multi-purposes, especially when one of those purposes is to better my physicality. This outfit may look like just another casual outfit, but it also includes these cool Vionic shoes that are designed to realign your feet to their natural position- yup, you read that right! More info below...
Vionic shoes have podiatrist-designed technology that support the foot and counteract the daily grind of walking on hard and unnatural surfaces while looking cute! I wore this to go for a Sunday stroll picking up coffee and buying groceries and can feel that they were working some magic on my feet.
If you have been to San Diego you know that Coronado Island is one of the most stunning parts of this city with its gorgeous views of the bay and the ocean on the other side. In the Ferry Landing area, there are a rows of boutiques and eateries and one of them caught my eye because of the cute clothing and accessories on display. That boutique is Miss Match which aside from having a store front, has an online presence where even if you're not in the San Diego area you can still indulge in their fashionable picks! I had a chance to style a few looks with their clothes and putting together the looks came with such ease because of the casual yet classy Coronado vibe.
Bonus: Miss Match is offering my readers 25% off their online orders with code chic25.
Although running errands is not my favorite thing to do, I make it a lil fun by wearing a cute (and comfortable) outfit. Lately my go-to errands uniform involves a cool tee, like this one that I found at Urban Beach House inside The Headquarters. I was so drawn to their tees because they allow me to rep my SoCal pride, woo woo. I paired it with my comfiest, yet stylish shoes at the moment - these slip-on tennis and a trench since it's been pretty chilly and off I went!
I have been putting my beloved Hunter boots to good use this season as El Niño wreaks havoc here in So Cal, forcing me to get more creative styling them different ways. This way in particular is one of my faves because it's so comfortable and also not my standard black and white uniform type outfit.
My initial thought when styling this dress was to keep everything else subtle since the print is so vibrant and busy, but when I saw the cool slit I had to sneak in a cool pair of shoes that could peek through! This pretty cool dress is from Shabby Apple, that aside from selling quintessential feminine and whimsical dresses (last featured here), also have some really cool sleek pieces like this one! This outfit felt perfect for grabbing drinks with the girls and I also intend on packing this one for a nice dinner during vacay time.

Annnnd, I'm back! When I reflected on my blogging year 2015, I felt a sense of gratitude - for my readers, for my supporters and also for the companies that have believed in me, one of them being Cabi. I have spoken of Cabi many a-time before, but just in case you aren't familiar, they are a fashion company that empower women by letting them not only feel amazing in their clothes, but be their own boss in selling the Cabi branded items.
