Touches of Olive

It's November and I'm not going to hold myself back from indulging in fall colors, textures and boots any longer and neither should you! Every time I shot fall looks while the real temperature was Summer-like I would think "am I getting ahead of myself?" or "are people ready for this yet?" and now as I plan for the Holidays, I'm having those same thoughts. I'm the fashion blogger equivalent of that store you walk into in October and they have the Christmas stuff out, but in my defense I'm just really giddy about embracing the seasons! Even though they say San Diego doesn't have "seasons", I beg to differ when it comes to fashion. No matter what the temperature, I'll be out in my seasonal clothes!

So how does this tie into this outfit? because I shot this look about a couple months ago and even though the weather was not fall-like I pretended to be in fall because I really loved this outfit- I was obsessed as soon as I laid my eyes on the long jacket that looks like a bomber-trench hybrid!
