I have been feverishly looking for a nice poncho (hence the title), and finally got my hands on this cozy gray beauty from SheIn ! Part of my poncho checklist was that 1. It looked chic (vs. matronly), 2. It was comfortable and 3. It was not an overwhelming piece (vs. looking like I tossed on a blanket). I also feel like I lucked out with this chunky turtle neck poncho, a 2 in 1!
Yes the vest has returned for its third time (first seen here, then here) and that only goes to show how versatile it is! This time I layered over a plain white tee and my "knight" skinny jeans from Cabi to (again) give it that sleek feel. This was also the perfect opportunity to bring in the statement necklace, that also made its debut last post. If ever you feel like your outfit is lacking a lil somethin' somethin' add a statement necklace it takes the outfit up a notch. Not convinced? Envision my outfit without it = plain Jane *sad face* Hope you all have a terrific weekend!

When the heat strikes again, you have to make the best of it and say- bonus Summer! To attend a fashion event in the heat I turned to this very comfy dress that looks like it's two pieces. Since it was very basic I decided to toss on a statement necklace and the striped clutch to give it some pizzazz.

After a long week of work, being pampered is like music to my ears! That is exactly what happened when I paid the Iconic - Marilyn Monroe Spa located inside the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego a visit for a relaxing mani and pedi session.
Every Fall season, I don a boho inspired outfit to officially welcome Fall with open arms (as seen here and here). Who would have thought that just three pieces (the felt fedora hat, the flowy printed dress, the fringe boots) could instantly make me feel like Fall fashion's bff? And can we take a moment to acknowledge my new fringe boots? After drooling over 9 pairs, as previously shared with y'all here, these were the winners. Warning: you will definitely see these in heavy rotation!
There is something sleek about a black and white combo especially when it involves a good windowpane/grid pattern! I typically add in a pop of color to my black and white ensembles, but this one felt like it should stay in the colorless realm. PS. I'm addicted to long-line vests, if all else fails or if you have any doubt about your outfit, a vest is like a chic hall pass! I highly recommend having one on hand.
