Tuesday Shoesday: Floral Heels

After buying 2 pairs of floral heels in a row, it became apparent I have an obsession! The benefit of being a style blogger with a fashion obsession is sharing them with all of you! I have compiled a beautiful list of floral shoes, two of these are in route to mi casa and you'll be seeing them incorporated into outfits very soon. In the meantime, here is some Tuesday Shoesday action!

Converse Mood

Even though I plan an outfit ahead of time, sometimes my mood comes in and changes it all up, hence the converse mood.

It was a gloomy day in San Diego, I was in such a chill mood and instead of putting my heels on I reached over for my dirty lil converse... yup, pretty worn and torn, but I have to keep it real right? Paired with a few cool pieces like the faux leather moto vest, the sunglasses from Silvano and that super cool Burlap 2 Cashmere phone case I felt stylish and chill enough for an afternoon out. All I was missing was a Starbucks cup and it would have been "chill" bliss!

Paradise on Denim

There's nothing like palm trees and wedges to get me in the mood to relax and pretend I am on vacation... keyword: pretend (darn you wedding budgeting!) Today I bring you a lil tropical get-up that I wore over the weekend to have drinks with friends, mojitos ensued and no plane ticket required!

These skinny jeans from CAbi are... you guessed it, comfortable. I never really mention sizing here, but I will today because I think it's important to note that CAbi really knows a woman's body (0-16), they even have a "curvy" collection of jeans for all of us curvaceous women *woot*

San Diego Sundays: Carlsbad Flower Fields and Premium Outlets

First of all, I thought this was the perfect Sunday to unveil a new series here on my blog called San Diego Sundays, for all of my local readers and also for any of you who may visit our beautiful city in the future. I plan on sharing my favorite SD spots, boutiques, brands, etc all in support of my beautiful city that I love so dearly #supportlocal

Today I wanted to start off by highlighting two really cool spots: Carlsbad Flower Fields and its fashionable neighbor The Carlsbad Premium Outlets.

Perfect T-Dress

Due to my crazy schedule (work deadlines, wedding planning and home decorating), I have been all about comfort and style- a combo that allows me to just toss on a dress and go! This dress from the CAbi Spring collection, totally hooked it up, with it's comfy tee material and rouching on the side that adds a playful touch. I paired it pink just for fun (I know I can't stop wearing pops of pink), but this dress can easily be worn with tan accessories for a more toned down look or even some converse for a casual stroll. Ah, gotta love options!

The weekender

Happy Monday Friends! I always sigh in sadness when posting my weekend pics because I'm usually editing as I embark on a whole new work week *tear* As I see these pictures, I'm reminiscing on how great the weather was and how comfortable I felt in this outfit.

This skirt from CAbi is reversible... hold up... Y'all know I love me a good versatile piece, but reversible?! Genius! For this outfit I wore it on the black and white side and added the purse as a pop of color (as seen here too). Well, off to work I go... enjoy these pictures and have a productive Monday! #hustle

Little Cocktail Dress

Cocktail attire is the middle ground in styling where I steer clear of being too fancy or too casual and add in an ounce of fun

In today's outfit post, that ounce is 1. the bright blue color (this dress from Znu.com also comes in white and black, but I was determined to get something that pops), 2. a glitter clutch (because what's funner than glitter?! ok, maybe champagne, but c'mon glitter is pretty up there on the list) and 3. These "Muah" lip earrings from Burlap2Cashmere (if the word FUN was a pair of earrings, these would totally be it).

I rest my case. Hope you enjoy today's outfit!

Slim City Pant: From Office to Play

Being a 9 to 5 girl, I'm all about the pieces that keep me looking comfortable and chic from the office to those fun after-work activities. Finding those pieces are few and far between but alas, I found the Slim City Pant from Gap Factory, that aside from being able to transition between my two worlds, is comfortable, form-fitting and also affordable (below $40)! To prove the pants' versatility, I have styled my grey pair in two ways: from my weekday professional setting to the days I look forward to the most, the weekend.
