Blush with the Wind

You can hear me oohing and aahing every time I enter a store and I'm greeted with displays of blush and pastel tones in anticipation of Spring. Even more so since I decided that blush was one of our wedding colors! It's starting to become a bad thing for my wallet because I simply can't resist buying cute pieces in this color- it's just so girly and elegant!

Today I paired two of my newest blush pieces of clothes with black skinnies and a chunky scarf to tackle a very windy morning (as you can tell by my Beyonce-like hair).

Hello Spring Giveaway!

This was supposed to go up on Monday, but I got too excited so it's going up now - Giveaway Time!

I have put together Spring-time essentials in anticipation of one of my favorite seasons. Everything in the pic will go to 1 lucky winner! See how you can enter for a chance to be THE lucky winner in the rafflecopter below.

It's pretty rare when I let a lip color dictate the whole outfit, but that's what happened. I might be super late to the MAC "Rebel" party, but alas I'm here joining in on the deep burgundyish-pink mesmerizing tone.

I combined it with another item I've been dying to wear, these studded booties, which resulted in a simple and comfortable in-between. Even though these booties are modeled after the Chloe "Susanna" booties, I don't think I would ever shell that type of money unless I win the lottery of course ;) If I were at NYFW right now *sigh*, this would be what I would wear after the shows to roam around the city.

Vibrant Pre-Spring

San Diego weather is a tricky little thing- it's mid Winter and it gives us Summer weather! Being born and raised here, I receive it with open arms either by heading to the beach, our local pool or by bringing out all of my favorite items for Spring/Summer.

On this day, I brought out this gorgeous and vibrantly printed "Brushstroke" dress from the CAbi Spring 2015 collection. When I attended the #CAbiScoop fashion show earlier this year, I drooled over this dress when it came down the runway. The way it flows, the drop waist and the beautiful length mentally transports me to a beach resort!

Elegant, but Sexy

With only five days away from the official holiday of LOVE and FRIENDSHIP, I had to toss in a V-day inspired outfit. I can literally be whisked away by the fiance in this outfit and he would love it, with the elegance at the top and showing some leg at the bottom (heaaay!). Let's be honest, some times he's not so thrilled with my fashion blogger selections (i.e. hats, midi skirts and what not). Men are such simple creatures, but that's a whole other blog post for a whole other blog!

Boho Grays

Styling a little black dress is like standing in front of a bunch of roads and not knowing which one to proceed on, there are infinite possibilities. Especially with this dress from Saylor Clothing, it is ideal to be layered and styled over, but I decided to put my styling beast on check and just go simple.
