With 4th of July only a few days away, here is a little red white and blue inspired number to get you in the spirit! It's one of those outfits that is not blatantly patriotic, but more of a hybrid of all-American colors with some chicness to it. Not quite sure what my 4th of July holds, but I hope that I get to see some cool fireworks!
As I scour online shops, I have come to find a great solution for women like me that don't like to bare a midriff, but would love to partake in the crop top or matching separates trend- Layered Dresses. Although all of these sites refer to these dresses as layered, I like to think of them as "illusion separates" because the layer is positioned to look like the outfit is composed of two pieces and even in some cases like you're actually wearing a crop top! Why spend on two pieces when there are these dresses that are like 2 in 1's? Here are some "Illusion Dresses" that I have recently added to my Pinterest Wishlist.
Palm Trees, sunglasses and gladiator sandals- what better way to welcome Summer?! Lately, I've been so drawn to botanical prints, especially on Summer essentials like dresses and shorts- is it because I'm in dire need of a tropical vacay? Probably. I also can't wait to wear these sandals casually with some jean shorts! I'll have to be extra careful not to get a "gladiator" tan (eek!). Have a great week everyone!

When I think back to my dorm room and bedroom at my parents' house days I remember how girly and extremely pink it was. I'm a little embarrassed to say that my walls were hot pink and in my dorm my duvet had a pink martini on it. After perusing the PBteen website I wish these things were around in my day! Gold and white is such a feminine chic combo, especially in home decor. Here are some of my favorite pieces that I'm even coveting at the moment (I wish my fiance was ok with me putting them in our current bedroom).Bedroom Sheets and Sparkly Pillows | 1. ☮ & ♥,
Just as blazers can polish a look, so do vests like this oversized one from Forever 21. What was an average outfit of a black tank top, jeans and sandal heels was instantly converted in to a quick chic look perfect for a cocktail or dinner with friends. Hope you have a wonderful week!
As an avid girl-on-the-go I love pieces that are easily transitioned from day to night like this dress from Kika with a fresh take on the gray-scale material that allows me to take this dress from a day of walking around to a glam night out. Here are some of my go-to tips on transitioning outfits.
I have been eye'ing all of the fun lemon and fruit printed items this season and I finally took the plunge by purchasing these adorable lemon printed sneakers from Kate Spade when they went on sale (pssst: all of their lemon printed items are on sale here). Out of the many ways to wear these comfy chic sneakers I was drawn to pairing them with my little white eyelet dress and since I've worn that dress so many times (last seen here and here) I layered a chambray top over it to change it up. I wore this outfit to run errands, but it's also a great and comfy look for a BBQ or chillin' at the park.
It's time to start dreaming about a lovely weekend, and what better outfit than one that includes a chambray, anchor printed pants and wedges? Today I bring you another look styled head to toe with Tommy Hilfiger, an outfit composed of all versatile pieces and staples.
