A couple of months ago, a crop top and a midi skirt were a frightening combo for me. For one, my midi skirt was already tight and just the thought of showing skin made me self conscious. I ended up wearing my midi as demure and cute as possible (as seen here and here) with every intention of steering clear of a crop top. Then this crop top stared at me during my a F21 sales binge and for $5 I figured I'll keep it in my closet until I was ready and if it went out of style, it wouldn't be that big of a loss.
Well, as I have mentioned nonchalantly here on the blog but very apparent on my twitter (where I share my workouts live), I have been eating way better and running a lot for the past two months. As many of you can relate, it's a tough, tiring and frustrating journey, especially at my age (in my 30's) and with constant social events, but I keep pushing myself because mainly I'm not a quitter and I'm determined to get to my 20's body for my wedding. I'll be honest, I don't weigh myself, I go off of what I see in the mirror and what my loved ones say, but yesterday when I put this outfit together I finally saw the results I've been working for.
