From trying to excel in my 9 to 5 career to being a style blogger when I'm off the clock to running the San Diego Style Bloggers community and now trying to plan a wedding while trying to... hello... live, my plate is always full. With only having 24 hours in a day to do everything, my diet and fitness slowly started to take a back seat. I have recently decided to start to prioritize my health by watching what I eat and fitting in work outs before bed.
My biggest downfall is dinner and snacking. I usually get home from an hour long commute with a ravenous appetite and a fridge full of all of the wrong quick foods. The "It's About Time It's Fresh and Easy" campaign gave me an opportunity to venture into my local Fresh & Easy to see what options they had for me to make the necessary adjustments to not fall into the same mistakes. I picked up a few goodies that were definitely (healthy) and easy (fast)!
Here are the goodies I picked up that are now staples in my fridge:
Salad kits are so easy!! Even easier were the tasty ready to heat or grill chicken options. I drizzled their vinaigrette for a delicious taste.
Instead of having the fattening chips, I opted for these veggie chips that satisfy my chip craving. I'm also a big hummus lover so I was happy to see a variety of flavors and of course the accompanying pita chips.
